LOCATION

The agriturismo La Svolta is particularly recommended for people who likes the natural rythm of country life and enjoy country landscapes but who – at the same time – like to move for every kind of journey. It is ideal as starting point for your daily excursions.

From here you can easily reach the famous thermal baths and hot springs at Saturnia (30 km), but also the picturesque tuscan villages, the coast and the seaside of Tuscany and Latium, the Bolsena Lake, many natural parks and the etruscan site of Vulci.

City arts like Rome and all the famous towns of Tuscany are 1-2 hours far away and you can reach them comfortably by train from the next railway station of Montalto d Castro, about 15 minutes by car from our Agriturismo.

La Svolta is located 20 km from the next seaside. The southern tuscan coast is one of the cleanest of Italy and offers wonderful possibilities of trips to the isle of Giglio and to the other isles of the Arcipelago dell’Argentario.

The nearest airports are Fiumicino and Ciampino, both in Rome.

From the SS Aurelia:

You have to leave the SS Aurelia in Montalto di Castro (near the Hotel Vulci that is situates on the Aurelia) and follow the road sign to Manciano.

You have to go on 18 Km. You will find the Agriturismo La Svolta on the right side.

From Autostrada A1:

in Orvieto You have to take the direction San Lorenzo, Grotte di Castro, Valentano.

From Valentano You follow the road sign to Montalto di Castro whilst 18 Km. Than You take the SP 107 direction Vulci. After 9 Km You will see the road sign to Manciano. You take this direction and after 8 Km You will find the Agriturismo La Svolta on the right side.
